This is the story of what happens at the Creative Kids Museum at the TELUS World of Science-Calgary.
The museum located at 701 - 11 St. SW, which is on the west side of downtown Calgary right by the river. It is about 10 000 square feet of Art exploration (that’s a lot of feet!). Children and their families can explore Drama, Dance, Art, Music and many other forms of creative creations that don’t even have names yet! The mission of the Creative Kids Museum is “to provide a space for children and their families to have fun in an exciting environment where hands-on discovery enhances creativity and learning.” The amazing, creative, educated, kind, helpful staff are always doing exciting things. Visitors are always involved in many different kinds of Art activities. Both the staff and visitors have a lot to share about their experiences. Here we will keep a record of some of those experiences!
This Blog will be written from the point of view of the museum. It’s the story of what we imagine the walls, the paintbrushes, the puppets, the chairs and everything in the museum would say if they could talk!!
